As you can see, this fine design features an angry Mexican looking skeleton. Whats not to like about that? While we would love to take the credit for coming up with and drawing such a cool skeleton, to be honest, we took it from a bigger drawing by José Guadalupe Posada. He was a Mexican satirist and illustrator, and the angry skeleton comes from an illustration he did for a paper. Regardless of where it is from, you have to accept it is very cool.
This particular design is the smaller ‘badge’ style of the larger one we have on a different t-shirt. If you ask us the more skeleton the better, but we understand if people want to be a bit more subtle.
Now, we don’t want to make too much of a fuss about it, but we know the source of their clothes is important to some folk. It is to us anyway and to that end, we have tried to work with companies that supply the materials for our t-shirts in a socially and environmentally ethical way. We are sure it’s not perfect, but we are giving it a good go.
